The University of Southern California women’s basketball team is once again a top program in the NCAA, just like they were last season. JuJu Watkins, a rising star in women’s college basketball as a freshman, is in charge of the team. Last year, the Trojans made it to the Elite Eight for the first time since 1994, where they lost to Paige Bueckers and UConn.

There is a possibility that the two programs will meet in the exact same location this year. If that matchup happens, the entire college basketball world will be watching. But first, the Trojans and Juju must make it that far. On Saturday,they took a step in the right direction by beating UNC Greensboro 71-25.
